Jon Doe's career has passed through many interesting phases during the last sixteen years, and has not only followed, but on many an occasion lead, the areas of music and technology he has been involved in.

One of these areas has been producing and releasing music.  The first of these releases was in 1995 whilst working in a studio above a record shop in Southampton.  The record shop also provided Jon with a day job, selling a wide variety of dance music genres on 12" vinyl records to an even wider variety of customers.  These included world-wide selling artists such as Craig David, and The Artful Dodger.  Production continued on underground dance music singles and enabled touring as an international DJ to an array of foreign countries, including Australia, Japan, Canada, USA, and also closer to home at many of the European music festivals.

With four years of radio experience in Southampton, a live Radio/TV experience was launched in Reading, letting cable viewers watch all of the behind-the-scenes action whilst broadcasting.  Feedback to the show was via text -which for 1998 was on the cutting-edge of technology.

In 2002, Jon set up C.L.S.M, a band that would go on to become a niche act within the underground dance movement. Amongst a spectrum of logistical planning, this included web design and the creation of an mp3 download store that preceding most of the stores in its field. This was revamped in May 2011. The group, and the store, no focus on the production and selling of break-beat music and prompted a half hour mix on Radio1 in June 2011 (here).

Producers of faster dance music had little Radio1 exposure, only that of John Peel, who might play one or two tracks during a two hour show.  This flew in the face of sales of compilations which showcased this music.  These compilations were getting into the top five of the national compilation chart.  In 2004, Jon Doe campaigned for change using online media (social and otherwise) and vinyl release.  This lead to meetings at Radio1, with Jon liaising with upper management and being a critical component in the selection process for a DJ who was to have a weekly show on the station that showcased hard-edge music: Kutski now hosts an extremely successful Radio1 show every Friday night.

In 2006, feeling that there was a gap in the market for a club TV show, Jon pursued his passion for video editing.  Along with Andy Backinsell, Jon planned, shot, edited, produced, cleared music licenses for, and delivered a full series of 13 half hour shows to Sky's 'Rapture TV'.  Knowledge gained from this regarding TV advertising led to releasing TV advertised download albums through Apple's iTunes.

Events have never been far away from music releases, in many ways these go hand in hand.  Jon has promoted club events for the launch of his 'Live' album in 2002, and for numerous project launches.

In May 2011, Matt Lastname regenerated the CLSM mp3 store, making it the busiest breakbeat hardcore store in the world.  Jon Doe and Matt Lastname have released 3 singles per week to kick start the breakbeat revolution.
