CLSM Live PA

The full works - Two CLSM type people pressing the buttons and making noise, someone singing with their voice, our live drummer Jonny Verbal with his rave sticks and sometimes Ned.  MC's Fugitive and Trigger are on hand to control the microphone. We have been known to smash up computers, paint things and steal crowds from other rooms with signs and smuggled a sledgehammer into Hardcore Heaven.

Jon can do lots of DJ sets including classic CLSM sets, upfront breakbeat hardcore type stuff as well as many other musical things. Get in touch to find out about it.

2013 Studio Rates.

Several services are available here in the CLSM studio.  Mastering tracks, mixdowns and day rate studio hire- from polishing your track up to learning in depth every aspect of dance music production.

Sending a link to your tracks or stems via wetransfer.com or similar service is ideal.  Payment can be via Paypal or bank transfer.

Mastering.

Putting your best possible sound out there is essential in todays busy music scenes as ever to give the edge in what you do, whether that is for Soundcloud or trying to get the attention of a label with your demo.

Provide a .wav or aiff file and it will be processed in several different stages, bringing the eq up to an industry standard as well as getting a strong volume without damaging the impact of your track.  You can give your preference as to how you like your mastering, whether that is more towards pure volume, dynamic quality or a mixture of both.  The studio provides masters for dance music labels from Dubstep, House and Breakbeat through to Drum and Bass and Hardcore/ Freeform.

£10 per track.

Mixdowns and Stem Mastering.

Many programs such as Cubase can now 'bounce down' the individual stems of your track.  Simply export all of your channels from start to finish and add to a zip or rar file.  I will mixdown your track and provide a final mix and also a mastered final mix.

£40 per track.

Studio hire.

A day rate is available at £150.  Advanced bookings are confirmed with a £20 deposit.  A reduced rate of £100 for a day is provided for breakbeat tracks created for sale on the clsm store.  Whoever 'writes' the music will be involved in a publishing split.  Artistic involvement in a track may involve a cut from income. A great way of learning techniques for studio production is to create a track and work through all the aspects such as sound selection, creating sounds using synths, compression, arrangement, the use of groups, fx and even how not to become stuck on ideas and how to break down tracks in genres to achieve your goals.
